Your path through the program will be customized according to your profile and interests and enables you to start your career in the diverse working world of our central departments, central companies, and retail companies at REWE International.
You can choose one of two areas where your main interests are predominantly included! The chosen area will then serve as focal point for projects, rotations and your first entry position:

Deine Aufgaben
Your tasks
The International Management Trainee Program is based on the principle of getting to know retail „from scratch“ and will give you the widest possible impression of REWE International. The training consists of a total of five training blocks and focuses on the areas of sales, foreign countries, headquarters and project work.
Der Ablauf
Our program at a glance:
Core Business: You will discover our core business in our stores in your country of employment, enjoying extensive basic training to handle your first management responsibilities (3 months). Subsequent you will get further insights in the supply chain in your country of employment (3 months).
International Project: You will join an exciting project abroad to get to know our international business in a foreign business unit (4 months).
Rotation: You will take active roles via job rotation in selected departments in a central division of your country of employment (2 months).
Headquarter Project: You will join a comprehensive project in our Austrian or German headquarters (3 months).
Focus: You will have the opportunity to get to know the local interfaces of your future position in the company via quick rotations (1 month).

Academic degree preferably with focus on business
Practical or international experience – either through internships or studies abroad – are a further advantage, but we also address young professionals
