The InternationalManagement Trainee Program is based on the principle of getting to know retail „from scratch“ and will give you the widest possible impression of REWE International. The training consists of a total of five training blocks and focuses on the areas of sales, foreign countries, headquarters and project work.
Our Program at a glance
Store Experience: You will enjoy extensive basic training to handle your first management responsibilities: during this training block you receive a comprehensive insight into the processes of a store in your home country/ country of employment and learn about the challenges of sales. Location: local, Time span: 3-6 months depending on profile and interest
International Project: You will partake an exciting project abroad to get to know our international business in a foreign European business unit at REWE International.Location: International, Time Span: 4 months
Job Rotation: You will gain further insights via job rotation of a central division of your home country/ country of employment taking an active role.Location: local, Time span: 2-3 months depending on profile and interest
HQ Project:You can expect another exciting project on a comprehensive topic in our Austrian or German headquarters.Location: Headquarter (Austria or Germany), Time Span: 3 months.
Flexible Elements (depending on profile and interest):
Supply Chain: You will get to know the supply chain in this in-depth job rotation in the central departments.Location: local, Time Span: 3 months
2nd Job Rotation: You will have the opportunity to get to know the local interfaces of the future position in the company via quick rotations.Location: Local, 1 month
